LAKE ELSINORE, CALIFORNIA (May 3, 2017) – Three cars were involved in a car accident on Ortega Highway on Wednesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 4:30 am on the westbound side of Ortega Highway near the Ortega Oaks Candy Store. Three cars, including a Dodge sedan were involved in an accident for an unknown reason. The impact forced the Dodge sedan to overturn, trapping a woman inside.
Paramedics responded to the scene, and rushed three people to Inland Valley Hospital including David Perez, a woman named Katie with an unidentified last name, and a woman in her 40s. The accident remains under open investigation at this time, and authorities have not ruled out DUI as a cause of the accident.
