FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA (July 31, 2017) – 48 year old Darry Arveson Jr. was identified as the man killed in a tragic accident on Monday morning at the Hector Airport, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 12:30 am at the Hector International Airport. A contractor identified as Darry Arveson Jr. was operating a small utility painting vehicle near the end of the runway as part of an ongoing construction project. An airport employee driving a Chevrolet Traverse struck Darry Arveson’s vehicle for an unknown reason.
Darry Arveson was tragically declared dead at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. The employee that struck Arveson was uninjured in the accident, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
