DANBURY, CONNECTICUT (July 30, 2017) – Three people were injured after a plane crashed near the Danbury Dog Park on Sunday, according to a local news source. (map)

The small plane, described as a Cessna Skyhawk, took off from the Danbury airport for a local flight, and crashed a short time later near the Danbury Dog Park on Miry Brook Road.

The three men on board were all injured, with one being listed in critical condition and the other two in serious condition. The accident remains under investigation, and the dog park has been closed until further notice. This was the second Cessna Skyhawk to crash on the weekend, with another going down in Big Bear, California on Saturday.
