The accident happened in front of the Costa Mesa DMV. A woman was taking her driving test with an instructor in the car when a pickup truck darted through a yellow light, causing an impact. The pickup truck went airborne and struck several vehicles in the DMV parking lot.
The woman and the driving instructor in the car were both taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. The pickup truck driver was not harmed. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
