“Ongoing Investigation”

COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA (January 27, 2017) –Three cars were involved in a hit and run on Friday morning on Highway 73, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 10:26 am on Friday, on the northbound side of Highway 73 near the 405 Freeway. An unidentified car cut off a black vehicle for unknown reasons. As the black vehicle attempted to avoid an accident, it in turn cut off a Nissan Leaf. The woman driving the Nissan Leaf then collided with the center divider on the Highway.

The black vehicle remained at the scene, but the first vehicle reportedly fled the scene after the accident. The report did not indicate if any injuries were sustained in the accident, but the accident remains under investigation at this time.

“Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California car accident and personal injury law firm.
