COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA (January 7, 2017) – According to the Costa Mesa Police Department, a 23-year-old motorcyclist was injured on Saturday in a collision on Harbor Boulevard and Adams Avenue. (map)
CMPD Sergeant Mike Manson reported that the motorcycle accident occurred around 12:00 p.m. The motorcyclist was transported to Orange County Global Medical Center with traumatic head injuries.
Sergeant Manson states that the driver of the car involved in the crash was uninjured and remained at the scene to cooperate with CMPD.
“Motorists must be aware of motorcyclists on the road at all times. They may not always appear in rear view mirrors and often end up in blind spots causing drivers to completely miss them, creating potential for a possible accident,” said a California motorcycle accident and injury lawyer.
