CORONA: Pedestrian Struck by Car Accident on Via Pacifica and Mayfair Drive

“Pedestrian Collision”

CORONA, CALIFORNIA (March 28, 2017) – A pedestrian was injured on Tuesday morning on Via Pacifica Drive, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened in the 1700 block of Via Pacifica Drive near Mayfair Drive on Tuesday morning. An 18 year old pedestrian was struck by a southbound sedan.

The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby trauma center for treatment of his injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time, and the driver that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

“According to experts drivers are responsible the majority of the time for pedestrian accidents. These collisions occur when drivers are careless and fail to yield in a crosswalk or when they turn right on a red light without looking out for a pedestrian,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California pedestrian accident and personal injury law firm.
