CORNING, CALIFORNIA (August 16, 2017) – Two cars were involved in a major injury collision on South Avenue on Wednesday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 7:31 am at the intersection of South Avenue and Hall Road. A black Honda Civic and a blue Ford Explorer were involved in a collision for an unknown reason.
At least one person had to be extricated by responding emergency medical personnel at the scene. The condition of those involved is unknown, but the accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
