The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. off of Alhambra Valley Road and Ferndale Road. A 1998 Ford Explorer crashed off the road for unknown reasons, ending up 50 feet down a ravine.
The two people inside the vehicle were rescued by firefighters and then transported to John Muir for treatment. One party reportedly suffered facial lacerations in the accident. The incident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
