“Two-Car Injury Crash”
CONCORD, CALIFORNIA (July 6, 2017) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 242 just north of the Interstate 680 Freeway Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
A Sig-Alert was issued at 8:13 a.m. when the two far lanes were blocked on the northbound Highway 242 just north of interstate 680 due to the collision involving a Nissan and Toyota, according to CHP.
One person was transported to the hospital. The injuries of the victim were not available. However, the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. CHP lifted the Sig-Alert approximately before 9:00 a.m.
No other details of the collision were immediately available.
