Benjamin Snow, 24, Arrested on New Year’s Eve After Bicycle Crash
CONCORD, CA — Police officers were dispatched to Vinnie’s Bar and Grill at 2045 Mt. Diablo Street after they received reports of a car crashing into a bicyclist in front of the bar.
Twenty-four-year-old Benjamin Snow, a Concord Resident was arrested shortly after officers were dispatched to the scene on Saturday night.
Police officers found the injured bicyclist lying on the ground when they arrived at the scene of the accident. According to investigators, the bicyclist was riding south on Mount Diablo Street just as Snow was driving north in a 1996 Volkwagen Passat.
Snow was turning left into the parking lot of Vinnie’s Bar and Grill when his vehicle hit the bicyclist. As officers arrived, Snow appeared to be drunk and was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
