COMMERCE, CALIFORNIA (April 6, 2017) – A semi-truck and a Mercedes were involved in a collision on Interstate 710 on Thursday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol. (map)

The accident happened around 7:53 am on the southbound side of Interstate 710 near Atlantic Boulevard. A white Mercedes and a semi truck were involved in a collision for an unknown reason.

At least one person was injured, and paramedics responded to the scene. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability, and the condition of those involved in the accident is unknown at this time.
