
“Crane Hits Bridge”
COLTON, CALIFORNIA (January 12, 2017) – A crane on the back of a flatbed tow truck hit an overpass and fell off on the 10 Freeway on Thursday morning, according to local news sources. (map)
The incident happened around 8:14 am on the eastbound side of the 10 Freeway near Pepper Avenue. A crane being transported on the back of a flatbed truck struck an overpass and fell off the back, and was subsequently struck by two vehicles of unidentified make and model.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene after a report of injuries. The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time to determine cause and liability.
