CLEVELAND, OHIO (October 11, 2017) – A 56 year old man was killed on Wednesday afternoon in a terrible accident at a construction site, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 4:00 pm at a construction site at Cleveland State University’s Washkewicz College of Engineering Building. Authorities said that a piece of sheet metal fell onto the 56 year old man, who was fitting pipes at the construction site.

The man, who remains unidentified at this time, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the accident. The man was working as a subcontractor for Gilbane Building Company. The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time, to determine cause and liability in this horrible accident.
