Two People Die in Rear-End Crash on Eastbound 10 Freeway near Indian Hill Boulevard
CLAREMONT, CA (January 18, 2017) – Two people died Wednesday after the driver of their vehicle rear-ended a parked semi-truck on the eastbound 10 Freeway near Indian Hill Boulevard.
California Highway Patrol officers were called to respond to the fatal accident at approximately 4:02 a.m. in the #4 lane of the eastbound 10 Freeway.
According to CHP report, there were two people inside the vehicle when it smashed into the back of a big rig that was parked on the right shoulder of the road. The force of the impact caused the roof of the vehicle to slide off completely. The cause of the accident is not available at this time and the CHP is still conducting a full investigation.
