CITRUS HEIGHTS, CALIFORNIA (February 4, 2017) – According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, two pedestrians were struck by a car on Saturday at the intersection of 8100 Sunrise Boulevard. (map)
The CHPD reported that a man and woman were crossing the street when they were hit around 5:50 p.m. by a Toyota Prius sedan that was traveling southbound.
The CHPD stated that the man and woman were transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with a serious injuries. The driver of the the Prius remained at the scene and cooperated with the CHPD.
