RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (February 20, 2017) – Christopher Davidson was identified as the passenger killed in a tragic DUI collision on University and Eucalyptus Avenues on Monday morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 2:15 a.m. on University Avenue and Eucalyptus Avenue. A car driven by a man suspected of being under the influence crashed into two trees and a light pole near the intersection. 31-year-old Christopher Davidson, a passenger inside the car, was tragically pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.

The driver was taken to the hospital and is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The incident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
