“Two-Vehicle Injury Collision”

CHINO, CALIFORNIA (August 1, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision that caused a closure of the 71 freeway north of Butterfield Ranch Road Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 7:40 a.m. A SigAlert was issued before 8:00 a.m. The initial closure was scheduled to have the northbound lanes of the 71 Freeway closed for a helicopter landing but later changed for an ambulance to be sent to the scene instead.

No other details of the injury collision were available.
