CHINO, CALIFORNIA (January 7, 2017) – 52-year-old Daryl Hugh Love has been identified as the passenger killed in a January 7th car accident. The accident occurred at approximately 2:07 a.m. at  Chino Hills Parkway and Highway 71. (map)

A 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by 63-year-old Thomas Contreras, was traveling west on Chino Hills when Contreras lost control of the car. The vehicle went 230 feet over the center median and struck a traffic signal pole.

Both Contreras and another passenger were injured in the crash. San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
