EL SOBRANTE, CALIFORNIA (April 3, 2018) – Cheyenne Boyer, 41-years-old, was killed in a deadly collision that involved three vehicles.
At 6:30 p.m., Boyer was traveling east on San Pablo Dam Road and began to approach the 5511 block of Terri Ann Lane, where the incident occurred. He was driving in his Honda Element SUV and was trailed behind by a Toyota Prius and Mercedes SUV. The Mercedes was following the Prius, just to the right and rear of it. Our sources indicate that the Honda Element crossed the double yellow lines and steered in the Element into the westbound lane, into the front area of the Prius. The driver of the Prius swerved right to avoid being hit and was sideswiped on the left-hand side. The Element kept moving westbound and next crashed into the left front side of the Mercedes.
Boyer remained trapped in his SUV upon impact and tragically succumbed to his injuries. He was unresponsive when officials arrived and was pronounced dead on the scene. The two other drivers of the Toyota and Mercedes sustained minor injures and were transported to a local hospital.
It is unclear at the time if drugs or alcohol was a factor in causing the collision. Officials are continuing to investigate this fatal incident. We will continue to update this article as more information is released.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends affected by this tragic accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved.”
