PEMBROKE, GEORGIA (August 28, 2017) – Catherine Cocke was tragically identified as one of the three killed in a plane crash in Georgia on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened on Monday morning, just after the single engine Beechcraft Bonanza took off from the Savannah airport en route to Atlanta. Catherine Cock and her husband William were on board the plane along with pilot Randy Hunter, who radioed air traffic controllers that he was experiencing engine trouble just after takeoff. The plane crashed a short time later and was found about 30 miles south of Savannah in a heavily wooded area on private property.

39 year old Catherine Cocke was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Her husband William was also killed, as was pilot Randy Hunter. Catherine Cocke was a well known interior designer that had been featured  in a 2011 episode of HGTV’s “My Big Amazing Renovation,” titled “Going Big in Georgia”. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends affected by this tragic accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved.”
