CASTRO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (March 31, 2017) – Three cars were involved in a collision on Friday morning on Interstate 580, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident happened around 7:28 am on the eastbound side of Interstate 580, near Redwood Road. A gray Scion TC, a Chrysler Pacifica, and a white Buick were involved in a collision. The Scion sustained major front end damage, the white Buick sustained front and rear damage, and the Chrysler Pacifica sustained rear end damages.
The condition of those involved in the crash is unknown at this time. The accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol to determine cause and liability.
