CASTAIC, CALIFORNIA (August 22, 2017) – A motorcyclist was struck by a car and killed on Tuesday on Highway 126, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened on Tuesday morning around 6:30 am on the eastbound side of Highway 126 near Chiquito Canyon Road. A motorcyclist, identified only as a man in his 40s, was reportedly involved in a collision with a Ford Explorer.
The motorcyclist was tragically declared dead at the scene. There was no word on the condition of the SUV driver. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
