CAPE CORAL: Worker Killed in Accident while Working on Power Lines near 10th Street

CAPE CORAL, FLORIDA (April 25, 2017) – A worker in Florida was killed after being electrocuted on Tuesday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened just before noon near 10th Street and 8th Avenue. A worker, possibly associated with Mastec, was working on power lines when they were electrocuted for an unknown reason.

The worker was rushed to a hospital, but was tragically confirmed to have been killed in the accident. A thorough investigation is ongoing at this time to determine cause and liability in the accident.
