CANYON LAKE, CALIFORNIA (December 21, 2017) – At least one person was killed in a three car accident on Vacation Drive on Thursday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:00 am at the intersection of Vacation Drive and Yosemite Place. A vehicle driving westbound on Vacation Drive veered into westbound lanes for an unknown reason, striking another vehicle head on. A third vehicle was reportedly also struck.
A 29 year old victim from Canyon Lake was seriously injured and was rushed to a hospital, but tragically died a short time later. Two others reportedly sustained minor to moderate injuries as a result of the car accident. Initial reports indicate that authorities believe drugs were believed to be a factor in the accident.
