The accident happened around 9:36 am on Thursday on the southbound side of Highway 50 near Cameron Park Drive. A white Ford pickup truck and a Chevrolet Trailblazer collided for an unknown reason, trapping one person inside the Trailblazer.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene, and the condition of those involved in the accident is unknown at this time. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
