CAMDEN: Two Killed in Small Plane Crash at Camden Airport

“Investigation Ongoing”

CAMDEN, ARKANSAS (September 24, 2017) – Two people were killed in a plane crash on Sunday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened at the Camden Municipal Airport, also known as Harrell Field. A small plane reportedly crashed at the north end of the runway, but it is unknown if it was taking off or landing at the time.

Two people, reportedly males, were both tragically killed in the accident. The incident remains under active investigation at this time. Initial investigations indicate this airport has no control tower on site, and that there have only been three accidents at the airport since 1986, none of which reported any injuries.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends affected by this tragic accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved.”
