CAMDEN: Schon Hudson Dies in Big Rig Accident on U.S. 127 near Route 725

“Investigation Ongoing”

CAMDEN, OHIO (September 12, 2017) – Schon Hudson, his wife Melissa, and their 3 year old child Emerie were all tragically killed in an accident on Tuesday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)

Schon Hudson, a 34 year old man from Camden, was driving a Jeep Cherokee eastbound on Central Avenue. They approached the intersection with U.S. 127 on a green light, when a semi truck heading southbound on U.S. 127 allegedly ran a red light and t-boned the Jeep, killing all three people on board.

Schon Hudson, his wife Melissa, and their three year old Emerie were all tragically killed in the collision. It was later discovered that Melissa Hudson was pregnant with the couples first boy at the time of the accident.

The driver of the semi truck, identified as 61 year old Brian Murphy, was in a medically induced coma as of Thursday. The initial finding indicates that the semi truck ran the red light and may also have been speeding, according to witness reports and available camera footage. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
