CALLAHAN COUNTY, TEXAS (February 20, 2017) – Jonah Wayne Neal has been identified as the man killed in a tragic semi-truck accident on Highway 36 on Monday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 12:15 a.m. on the westbound side of Highway 36 near FM 604 and Highway 283. 32-year-old Jonah Wayne Neal was driving a semi-truck west on Highway 36, when he struck another big rig that had hydroplaned and jackknifed across the Highway. Jonah Wayne Neal was tragically killed in the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel.
The other semi’s driver was treated and released. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
