BYRON, CALIFORNIA (April 13, 2017) — California Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle crash occurred on Camino Diablo about a quarter mile east of Vasco Road. (map)
The accident occurred at about 4:05 p.m. According to the CHP report, a solo motorcyclist was found off the roadway, lying in a field. The bike went off the road and into a barbed-wire fence. Paramedics responded to the accident and treated the rider for head and neck injuries.
A helicopter was summoned to the scene and the rider was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. No other information is available at this time. CHP is currently investigating the accident to determine the cause.
