Fatal Pedestrian Collision Under Investigation
BURBANK, CALIFORNIA (December 9, 2016) – A 52-year-old man was killed in a frightening pedestrian accident on Olive Avenue on Friday, December 9, 2016, reported ABC news.
The crash occurred about 5:40 p.m. when a minivan veered off Olive Avenue, jumped the curb and struck a 52-year-old pedestrian identified as Rodolfo Tan.
Tragically, Rodolfo Tan was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators discovered the driver of the minivan, who has only been identified as a 33-year-old Glendale man, had been stabbed in the chest sometime before crashing into Rodolfo Tan.
The man is in critical condition Saturday and authorities have not been able to speak to him. Investigators, however, have spoken to the driver’s family and are working to determine how, when and why the man was stabbed.
No arrests have been made at this time.
