The BPD reported that the minivan veered off the roadway onto the curb and crashed into Tan around 5:40 p.m. Tan was wedged underneath the minivan when he was extricated and transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The BPD stated that the driver of the minivan had been stabbed in the chest before the crash occurred. The 33-year-old Glendale man was driving at a high-rate of speed when he sideswiped a parked vehicle, crossed the opposite lanes of traffic, and crashed into a bus bench.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort the victim’s family and friends as they cope with such an incredible loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law, a California personal injury law firm.“The thoughts and prayers of our staff are with them, as well as the young people who were injured, as they try to piece together what happened.”
