
“Semi Truck Accident”
BUENA PARK, CALIFORNIA (January 13, 2017) – A collision involving a FedEx semi-truck on Friday early morning killed at least one person on the 5 freeway, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 1:00 am on the southbound side of the 5 Freeway, near Stanton Avenue. A black 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck collided with a FedEx big rig for unknown reasons.
A woman riding as a passenger inside the pickup truck was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of her injuries. The condition of others involved in the accident is unknown at this time. The investigation is ongoing, and is being headed up by the Westminster division of the California Highway Patrol.
