BUDA: Ian Antonellis Hit by Train and Killed near Garrison Road

BUDA, TEXAS (October 9, 2017) – Ian Antonellis was tragically identified as the man that was struck by a train and killed on Monday evening in Buda, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 9:55 pm near Garrison Road and Main Street. 21 year old Ian Antonellis was struck by a Union Pacific Freight Train for an unknown reason.

Ian Antonellis was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the accident. The railroad crossing at Main Street and Houston Street was closed for an extended period of time after the collision. The accident remains under investigation.

In April of 2016, 13 year old Tanley Yacos was struck by a train and killed less than a block away from the collision that claimed the life of Ian Antonellis.
