BRONX, NEW YORK (December 7, 2016) – 1 year old Scylee Ambrose and 2 year old Ibanez Ambrose were killed when a radiator malfunctioned and released hot steam on the napping toddlers on Wednesday, according to a local news source. (map)

The tragic accident happened on Wednesday at the toddlers home in an apartment building in the Bronx on Hunts Point Avenue. The two girls were napping when a faulty radiator malfunctioned, sending hot steam all over the two children.

Ibanez Ambrose and Scylee Ambrose were both tragically pronounced dead as a result of their injuries. An investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability. City Councilman Rafael Salamanca has stated that radiators are not normally included in inspections.
