TOMALES BAY, CALIFORNIA (April 3, 2017) – A 47 year old man was killed on Monday in a boating accident in Tomales Bay, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 11:45 am on Monday, in Tomales Bay near Lawson’s Landing. A 13 foot Boston Whaler carrying three people and two dogs was struck by a wave and capsized.

Brian Phidat Ho was tragically pronounced dead. The two other parties involved in the accident survived, and one of the two dogs survived as well. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
