BRENTWOOD: 2 Year Old Child Airlifted after Suffering Burns from Starbucks Coffee

BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA (March 28, 2017) – A 2 year old child was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center on Tuesday morning after suffering severe burns at a Starbucks in Brentwood, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 9:07 am at the Starbucks at 8610 Brentwood Boulevard. A 2 year old child suffered severe burns from hot coffee to his face and arms. The burns were severe enough that paramedics called for a helicopter to airlift the child to the UC Davis burn center.

The child’s condition is currently unknown, and the circumstances of how coffee burned the 2 year old is unknown at this time as well. The accident is under investigation by the Brentwood Police Department.
