The accident happened sometime around 2:30 am on State Route 90, also known as Imperial Highway, near Kraemer Boulevard. A Toyota Corolla heading southbound on Kraemer reportedly ran a red light, crashing into a tan Ford Fusion traveling eastbound on Imperial Highway. The impact sent the Ford Fusion into a nearby tree, and the Toyota Corolla ended up jumping up onto the sidewalk.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla was ejected from her vehicle, and was tragically killed in the accident. The three people inside the Ford Fusion were all rushed to UC Irvine Medical Center with serious injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time, and authorities have not ruled out alcohol as a possible factor.
“Our firms prayers are with all parties involved in this devastating collision,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm.
