The small plane, carrying the pilot and his brother in law, reportedly landed in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park around 8:30 am, then attempted to take off. It crashed short after takeoff.
The two men on board reportedly sustained little to no injury in the accident, but the plane crash remains under investigation by the FAA at this time to determine cause and liability.
