BLOOMINGTON, CALIFORNIA (March 16, 2017) – A little girl was injured on Thursday morning after a vehicle ran a red light and struck her, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 7:15 am on Valley Boulevard near Locust Avenue. A little girl was reportedly crossing the street in a crosswalk when she was struck by a silver 2008 Hyundai Elantra that ran a red light.
The little girl was rushed to a hospital in serious condition. It is unknown if the driver of the vehicle that struck the girl remained at the scene, but the vehicle was found nearby. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
