ANITOCH, CALIFORNIA (April 23, 2018) – Betty James, 93-years-old, was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Saturday.(map)
At 3:05 p.m., James pulled her Buick out onto James Donlon Boulevard from northbound Silverado Drive intersection, into the path of the truck. Her vehicle was T-boned on the driver’s side by a Ford 150 pickup truck who was heading eastbound down James Donlon Boulevard. The force of the impact pushed the Buick into a third vehicle.
James was immediately transported to a local hospital by an ambulance. However, James succumbed to her injuries. The other two drivers were not injured as a result of the accident.Initial sources indicate that alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash. Officials are still investigating the incident. Lexton Law will update this article as more information is released.
