BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA (March, 2017) – At least three vehicles were involved in an accident on Interstate 80 on Wednesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 9:24 a.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 80 near Buchanan Street. A black sedan, a double decker bus, and a Volkswagen Jetta were involved in a collision for unknown reasons. A big rig at the scene and a white Mercedes may also have been involved, although the exact details of the accident are unclear.
An ambulance responded to the scene to tend to any injuries sustained in the accident. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
