Pedestrian died in vehicle crash

BELLFLOWER, CALIFORNIA (June 12, 2017) – A pedestrian was involved in a deadly collision at the intersection of Flower Street and Lakewood Boulevard early Monday morning, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 1:36 a.m. Rescue crews were called to the scene to find the pedestrian north of the intersection near a bicycle. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses identified the vehicle, that hit the pedestrian, parked around the corner.

An investigation is ongoing to determined the cause of the accident fatal collision.
