BEAUMONT, CALIFORNIA (January 23, 2017) – 44 year old Stacey Warriner was tragically killed while trying to help a stranded motorist on the 10 Freeway on January 23rd, according to a local news source. (map)

Stacey Warriner, an EMT with the Morongo Fire Department for three years, was on her way to work when she spotted a stranded motorist on the side of the road. She stopped to help and got out of her car, and was then struck by a passing car.

Stacey was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries and died. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
