BARSTOW, CALIFORNIA (March 27, 2017) – A motorcycle and a dune buggy were involved in a collision on State Route 127 on Monday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)

The accident happened around 10:43 am on State Route 127 near Dumont Dunes Road. A motorcycle and a baja buggy were reportedly traveling in the same direction when the buggy abruptly turned in front of the motorcycle, causing a collision.

At least one person was airlifted from the scene, and the condition of others involved is unknown at this time. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability.
