BARSTOW, CALIFORNIA (March 6, 2017) – At least one person was killed in a rollover accident on Fort Irwin Road on Monday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)

The accident happened around 6:10 am in the 45400 block of Fort Irwin Road, near Starbright Mine Road. A silver Honda Civic was involved in an accident for unknown reasons, ending up over 100 feet from the road and sustaining rollover damage.

At least one fatality was reported as a result of the accident, and the exact number of people involved and their identities are unknown at this time. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
