“Deadly Train Accident”
BARRY COUNTY, MISSOURI (April 27, 2017) – A woman was killed in a train accident on Wednesday in Exeter, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 11:00 am on the tracks near Farm Road 1065 near Exeter. 73 year old Sylvia Hayworth crossed the train tracks in her vehicle and was struck by an Arkansas and Missouri train.
Sylvia Hayworth was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of her injuries. Initial investigation indicate there are no signals at the crossing where the accident happened. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
