BARROW COUNTY, GEORGIA (February 16, 2017) – Two people were killed in an airline crash on Thursday afternoon just outside of the Winder Airport, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened sometime between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. A small, four passenger single engine plane identified as a Beech C23 crashed at the end of the runway at the Winder Airport. It is unknown whether the airplane was taking off or landing at the time of the accident.
The two people inside the plane were identified as Shannon Ewing and his nephew Henry Ewing. Both Shannon and Henry were tragically killed as a result of the accident. The NTSB is conducting an investigation into the
