BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (April 18, 2017) – Two cars were involved in a collision on the 99 Freeway on Tuesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 10:07 am on the northbound side of State Route 99 near Merle Haggard Drive. A silver 2013 Toyota Camry and a brown Chevrolet Silverado were involved in an accident for an unknown reason.
Paramedics rushed to the scene to tend to any injuries sustained in the accident, but the condition of those involved in the collision is unknown. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability.
