BAKERSIFIELD, CALIFORNIA (April 7, 2017) – A woman was involved in a two-car collision on at Brimhall Road and Nord Avenue Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 7:50 a.m. when two vehicles collided causing one vehicle to overturned landing on its side. The other vehicle received extensive front end damage, according to a CHP report. Occupants from the overturned vehicle were found climbing out of the damaged vehicle.
Emergency crews were called to scene, a female occupant of one of the vehicles was found unresponsive and sustained major head trauma. No other information concerning the cause of the accident was immediately available; an investigation is ongoing.
